Let a Local Travel Planner Bring Your Adventure to Life.
Why Work with a Travel Planner?
Planning a trip to a large national park, or multiple national parks, can feel overwhelming. With limited time, crowded seasons, and endless options, it is easy to second-guess every decision. That is where we come in.
As Your Travel Planner and Advisor, we help you:
Create a custom itinerary based on your interests, pace, and group size
Strategic scheduling to align with timed entries, reservations, and key park access requirements
Design a route with logical sequencing, drive-time optimization, and season considerations, so you spend less time driving and more time exploring
Choose the best places to stay (location matters more than most people realize)
Avoid common travel pitfalls through strategic timing — helping you sidestep crowds, capture beautiful photos in the best light, and enjoy key locations with less stress and fewer people around
Provide practical advice and simple strategies for traveling with kids in national parks — keeping them entertained, involved, and open to new experiences along the way
Discover local insights and hidden gems
Feel confident knowing your trip is thoughtfully planned from start to finish

At first when I got home from school I packed my bag and had a snack. One hour later we packed up the car and left at about 6:00 PM. At 9:00 PM we took a pit stop at a hotel and checked in and fell asleep. At 6:00 AM we left the hotel and got to Zion. When we got there we went to the visitor center and got souvenirs. We went back to the car and got ready for the big hike. The big hike was called Angels Landing. Angels Landing was dangerous because death was possible. You needed a permit to do it. Angels Landing was a 12 foot wide ridge. It was not a very scary experience. On top we saw a condor. We named it James. James was a giant bird. It was beautiful on top. You could see the whole national park. We took a lot of pictures on top.
Fifteen minutes later we hiked back. Half way down we took a stop to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was a treadmill for the poop and toilet paper.
Me and my family hiked a little more but then we got lucky. There were bighorn sheep! Soon we found the king. The kinds have the biggest horns. We got back to the car at 7:30. It was a great day. We got dinner at the lodge and drove to the hotel and went to the pool.
We woke up and ate breakfast and got ready for another hike. The hike was called The Narrows. The Narrows is a hike that you hike up a river. So we got in the bus and drove to it. The water was cold but we made it up three miles. When we got back I was freezing cold from the water. When we got to the car we drove to the lodge and had lunch then we went to the hotel and packed up and drove home on the 14 hour drive. It was a long trip ad I was tired from hiking. That is a time I went to Zion National Park.

"I was starting to feel completely discouraged trying to plan our 14-day trip out west with a large group. Several travel planners told me it simply wouldn’t work or that the logistics were too complicated. Snake River Adventure Seekers completely changed that experience. They listened to what we wanted, created a thoughtful day-by-day itinerary, and helped make the trip feel possible again. The plan gave us the confidence to move forward with hotel and camping reservations and made everything feel organized and manageable. I’m so grateful for the time, care, and creativity that went into helping us turn a frustrating situation into an exciting adventure."

"With two full-time jobs and busy family schedules, we really wanted to take a big national parks trip before our kids left for college, but we simply didn’t have the time to research and plan everything. We had so many places we wanted to see — the Badlands, Wind Cave, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton — but sorting through all the information online felt overwhelming. Snake River Adventure Seekers made the whole process easy. They created a thoughtful itinerary that helped us understand how everything fit together and guided us on key reservations like rafting and cave tours. What once felt stressful became an exciting trip we could actually look forward to. We’re so grateful for the time and care they put into helping our family make these memories together."
